On the day, Mbappe played on the left flank in PSG’s 4-3-3 formation.

The defense was anchored by Nordy Moukiele, Milan Skriniar, Marquinhos, and Kalos Soler, with Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal.

In the 37th minute, Mbappe finished off the third goal after receiving a pass from Barca.

He scored his 11th, 12th, and 13th goals in the same game.
Mbappe took nine shots on the day.

Five of them were on target.

Two were saved by Reims goalkeeper Ehvan Diouf.

Mbappe’s shot just before the end of the game hit the crossbar and went out of play.

It could have been more than three goals.
Mbappe collected the match ball as soon as the final whistle blew.

There is a culture that the player who scores a hat-trick gets to keep the match ball.

Mbappe beamed as he took the ball into the locker room and signed autographs for all of his teammates, including Lee Kang-in.
Since 2000, Mbappe has scored the most hat tricks in the Ligue 1.

Mbappe has eight Ligue 1 hat-tricks to his name.

For the time being, Mbappe’s record of eight hat tricks looks unbreakable.
