Korean Air rides high to beat Hyundai Capital, retain No. 2 spot

Korean Air used its height advantage to defeat Hyundai Capital 1 hour and 26 minutes into the game.
Korean Air defeated Hyundai Capital 3-0 (26:24/25:17/25:16) in the Dodram 2023-2024 V League on Sunday at Gyeyang Gymnasium in Incheon, Korea, with wings Lim Dong-hyuk and Espejo Mark (registered name Espejo) leading the way.

Korean Air, which reached the 10-win plateau for just the third time this season among the seven clubs, moved past Samsung Fire (11W5L – 28 points) for second place in the league (31 points) with the three points.

Lim Dong-hyuk, playing as an outside hitter in place of the injured Lincoln Williams (real name Lincoln), scored a team-high 17 points (57.14% offensive success rate), while Espejo, an Asian Quarterfinalist from the Philippines, added 16 points (50% offensive success rate), including two aces.
For Hyundai Capital, Ahmed Iqbairi (real name Ahmed) scored 13 points and Heo Su-bong added 12 points.

Hyundai Capital, which is without its leading scorer Jeon Kwang-in due to a sore right ankle, is currently in sixth place in the league with a 4-12 record (15 points).

They are only one point behind last-place KB Insurance (3-13, 14 points).
