After a heartwarming meeting, it’s a game of victory Hanwha Kim Gyeong-moon wins his 900th win by defeating his former team Doosan

Hanwha coach Kim Gyeong-moon, who reached 900 wins with a win against Doosan on the 11th, is giving a high-five to his players after the game.

Baseball fans and reporters focused their attention on Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 11th, when Hanwha and Doosan faced each other. This is because it was the first match between Hanwha coach Kim Kyung-moon (66), who led the Korean baseball team to a gold medal in all nine games at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, and Doosan coach Lee Seung-yeop (48) as head coaches.

The relationship between the two is beyond special. At the time of the Beijing Olympics, Coach Kim was leading the Korean baseball team, and Coach Lee, who was active as the ‘national hitter’, was the team’s number 4 hitter.

Coach Lee’s batting pace was disturbed due to the extreme pressure at the time, and he showed poor results with 3 hits in 23 at-bats (batting average of 0.130) until the quarterfinals. Criticism poured in from inside and outside the national team, but Coach Kim chose Lee as the number 4 hitter until the end. And as if repaying the trust, Coach Lee hit a come-from-behind two-run home run in the semifinals against Japan. Coach Lee also contributed to the gold medal by hitting a two-run home run in the final against Cuba.

About three hours before the start of the game, Coach Kim and the Hanwha players arrived at Jamsil Stadium and the two met. When Coach Kim, the elder, bowed first, Coach Lee bowed even deeper and greeted Director Kim. Coach Kim, who started his career as a player and coach at Doosan, also patted the shoulder of his favorite student, Doosan catcher Yang Eui-ui (37), and offered a well-wishes.

Director Lee later met with reporters and said, “I am always grateful to Director Kim Kyung-moon. I always imagined the sight of a head-to-head confrontation as a director. He said, “I thought Director Kim could return at any time, and I had expectations, but they became reality.” However, he steeled himself and said, “Now that it is the opposing team, I will focus 100% on my team.” Coach Kim said, “I never thought I would face off against Coach Lee as the head coach. It was nice to reminisce about the old days. “The world of competition is cold, but winning at the Beijing Olympics is never forgotten,” he said. “Even when I was away from the field, I thought I should learn what young coaches are good at. Coach Lee is leading the team well even though he is only in his second year as head coach. “I hope that Hanwha can play a good game without losing out to other teams,” he said.

When the warm meeting ended and the game began, the two coaches engaged in a battle of wits without compromise. The team that won that day was Hanwha.

Hanwha defeated Doosan 6-1 thanks to starting pitcher Jaime Barilla’s excellent pitching, allowing 1 run in 6 innings, and a focused batting lineup. Hanwha achieved a meaningful victory by defeating Doosan ace Kwak Bin, who had 4 wins, no losses, and an ERA of 1.48 during the month of May.

Baria, who wore a Hanwha uniform as a replacement for Felix Peña, used a fastball of up to 153 km/h and a high-speed slider of up to 141 km/h that day to block the Doosan batting line with 3 hits, 1 walk, 2 strikeouts, and 1 run in 6 innings. Bariya, who pitched well in his first appearance in the KBO League against KT on the 5th, allowing 4 hits, 2 runs, and striking out 4 in 4 innings, earned his first win in his second appearance. Hanwha took the lead with Jang Jin-hyuk’s sacrifice fly in the 3rd inning, and Noh Si-hwan, Chae Eun-seong, and Choi Jae-hoon each hit a double in the 4th inning, adding 2 runs. In the 6th inning, when the team was down 3-1, Lee Do-yoon’s timely hit, Hwang Young-mook’s walk, and Jang Jin-hyuk’s timely hit allowed them to score 3 more runs, putting a wedge in the game..

Samsung continued its five-game winning streak at home by defeating leader LG 6-4 in Daegu. Choi Won-tae, who was originally announced as LG’s starter, was unable to take the mound due to a side injury, so LG had no choice but to play with bullpen pitchers. Perhaps due to the chaotic situation, LG’s defense committed five mistakes that day and destroyed themselves. Samsung trailed 5-4 in the second half of the game, but widened the score with Kim Dong-jin’s solo home run in the bottom of the 8th inning.

NC defeated KT’s chase 8-6 in Changwon and broke away from their 11-game losing streak in Changwon’s home games that had lasted since May 11. NC turned the game around in the bottom of the second inning, trailing 1-3, with three home runs by Kim Hwi-jip, Park Min-woo, and Park Geon-woo. In the bottom of the 4th inning, when the team was down 5-4, they took advantage of errors by KT right fielder Kang Baek-ho and shortstop Kim Sang-su to score 3 more runs.

Kiwoom defeated Lotte 5-2 in an away trip to Busan, and SSG won 7-6 over KIA thanks to rookie Park Ji-hwan’s walk-off hit in the bottom of the 10th inning. 섯다

Son Heung-min and Kim Do-hoon’s wishes “Korean soccer needs good leaders and direction”

South Korea’s Son Heung-min is sharing his joy with interim coach Kim Do-hoon after winning 1-0 in the 2026 North and Central America World Cup Asian 2nd round group C match between Korea and China held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 11th.

Son Heung-min, captain of the national soccer team, and coach Kim Do-hoon, who served as interim head coach, shared the same voice, saying that a good leader and the right direction are needed for a bright future for Korean soccer.

Korea, led by interim coach Kim Do-hoon, won 1-0 with Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain)’s winning goal in the final third match of the 2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup Asian region second qualifying round against China held at Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 11th. won.

As a result, Korea finished the second qualifier with 5 wins and 1 draw, maintaining its qualification for pot 1 in the 3rd qualifier starting in September. As a result, Korea was able to avoid difficult enemies Japan and Iran.

Even in a chaotic atmosphere with three leaders leading the team, it is encouraging that they finished the second preliminary round undefeated and qualified for pot number one in the third preliminary round.

Last February, Korea dismissed coach Jurgen Klinsmann due to lack of leadership and controversy over attendance. However, due to difficulties in the task of directing the next head coach, a new official head coach has not yet been appointed.

Accordingly, in March of last year, then Olympic team coach Hwang Seon-hong (currently Daejeon coach) led the national team as temporary head coach, and in June, coach Kim Do-hoon led the national team as temporary head coach.

Although Korea has urgently put out fire under the temporary manager system, it must bring in a new head before September when the third preliminary round is held. A proper system is needed in the 3rd qualifier as it is against stronger teams than the 2nd qualifier. In fact, Korea struggled in the third qualifying round of the 2014 Brazil World Cup and the 2018 Russia World Cup and changed coaches. Coach Kim Do-hoon, who directed the two games in June, said, “I hope I will be the last interim coach. “A good coach must come to Korean soccer,” he said, and hoped that there would no longer be a national team with a temporary head coach. Captain Son Heung-min also conveyed the same thoughts and raised his voice that the manager should be appointed in a normal manner with enough time. Son Heung-min said, “There are many talented players in the Korean national team. “Even if it takes time (to appoint a director), it is important to choose the correct and safe path,” he said. In addition, both Son Heung-min and Kim Do-hoon emphasized that the priority is to determine the path and direction of Korean soccer before appointing a new coach. Son Heung-min, who has been playing as a player for a long time in Europe, said, “In soccer, each player’s ability is important, but discipline and promised movements are the most important.” He added, “Korean soccer also needs to decide on an accurate path. “We need to think specifically about what kind of soccer we will play in the future,” he said. Coach Kim Do-hoon also said, “The current national team players have the ability to occupy the ball and lead the game. Considering these abilities, he advised, “The direction in which Korean soccer will go is active soccer,” and added, “We will be able to develop further only if we keep playing the soccer we are good at.” The Korea Football Association, which successfully passed the June A-match, will once again appoint a new coach through the Strengthening Committee. The Power Strengthening Committee prefers a foreign coach as the next head coach, but plans to reexamine all candidates from scratch. 고스톱

Kiwoom, unable to feature Kim Hye-sung, places Song Seong-moon at second base after 332 days

Song Seong-moon hit a timely hit

Professional baseball Kiwoom Heroes placed Song Seong-moon as the starting second baseman in place of Kim Hye-seong, who is unable to play for the time being due to mild shoulder pain.

Kiwoom coach Hong Won-ki unveiled the starting lineup with Song Seong-moon as the third hitter and second baseman ahead of the first game of the double header against the Doosan Bears held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 21st.

Coach Hong said, “Ahead of this season, Song Seong-moon prepared for all infield positions except shortstop. Even during his service in the Sangmu (Armed Forces Athletic Corps), he focused on second base,” adding, “There are many good rookie infielders, but first of all, offense is the priority. “So we appointed Song Seong-moon as the starting second baseman,” he explained.

It has been 332 days since Song Seong-moon’s appearance as a starting second baseman against Suwon KT Wiz on May 25 last year.

With Kim Hye-seong missing from the starting lineup until today due to left shoulder discomfort, the way to maximize offensive power is to appoint Song Seong-moon as a second baseman.

Director Hong laughed at the joke, “Isn’t this a personnel change?” and responded, “I think personnel change is the appropriate word. I was forced to change personnel.”

Regarding Kim Hye-seong, who has discomfort in her left shoulder, Coach Hong said, “I say I do it, but I don’t think I’m at the stage where I can endure the pain. If I refer to something bad somewhere, everything, including my batting balance, will go in a bad direction.”

He added, “I completely understand the desire to play, but I thought it would be better to suppress that and play in perfect condition, so I took him out of the lineup. He will get better if he rests until tomorrow (22nd), which is his rest day.” 섯다

AG Athletic Director Choi Yoon “Thank you for your attention to an unpopular sport”

Promoting lesser-known sports and athletes at the Games
“I was happy to see athletes giving their best”

Choi Yun, 60

Who led the South Korean team at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games,

thanked fans for their support, even for athletes in less popular sports.

South Korea won 42 gold, 59 silver and 89 bronze medals at the Asian Games, totaling 190 medals.

Although they didn’t reach their target of 45-50 gold medals, they still

managed to take home a valuable 42, good enough for third place in the

overall standings. China (201 gold, 111 silver, and 71 bronze) took first

place, followed by Japan (67 silver, 69 bronze) with 52 gold medals.

After the tournament, the Korean team returned home via Incheon

International Airport on the 9th. Upon returning home, Choi Yoon said,

“I felt a great sense of responsibility as the head coach at the Hangzhou

Asian Games. There were many shortcomings, 카지노사이트랭크 and I

wish I could have prepared better. However, I was happy to see the

athletes who did their best up close.”

Choi, chairman of OK Financial Group

Is currently the president of the Korea Rugby Association. He visited

numerous stadiums, including rugby, to boost the morale of the athletes,

especially calling for more attention to unpopular sports and athletes in the field.

Although their performances were less talked about than the popular and

filial sports such as soccer, baseball, golf, and archery, their dedication and passion for medals never lagged behind.

The shooting team took home two gold medals, while modern pentathlon

athlete Jeon Woong-tae won two titles. The women’s handball, women’s

hockey, and men’s rugby teams won valuable silver medals, while the men’s

hockey team took home a hard-fought bronze.

Swimmer Hwang Sun-woo “Focused on speed and training to overcome the middle distance”

“I will do my best to hear the Korean fans cheering”
“A lot of unit speed and a good record”
South Korean swimmer Hwang Sun-woo

(20-Gangwon Provincial Office) is determined to defeat Chinese

swimming star Fan Zhan-li at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games.

“I think there will be a lot of Chinese fans cheering for Pan Zhan’er

because it’s in China, 섯다 her homeland,” Hwang said in an interview at

Incheon International Airport before departing for Hangzhou on Aug. 21.

“But there are also Korean fans and people in the stands, and people who

believe in me, so I will do my best to listen to their cheers.”

Hwang

Will compete for gold with Fan Zhan-li in the men’s 100-meter freestyle

on Sept. 24. “My best time in the 100-meter freestyle is 47.5 seconds from

the Tokyo Olympics, and Pan Zhanlei’s record is 47.2 seconds, so I’m

about 0.3 seconds behind,” said Hwang.

Hwang said he trained intensively for his 100m freestyle gold. “I’m still

behind Pan Zhan’er’s record and I have a little bit of a gap, 온라인섯다 so

I’ve been training to increase my unit speed to make up a lot of ground in

the 100m freestyle and to increase my speed in the last 50m so that I can

break my personal record and have a race with no regrets,” he said.

“When I look at my training this week, I think I’ve improved a lot in my

unit speed,” Hwang said, “and I have a little bit of a feeling that I might be

able to get a good time in the 100 meters.”

The competition schedule is not bad either. At this meet, Hwang will

compete in the 100-meter freestyle before moving on to his main event,

the 200-meter freestyle. She hopes to improve on her previous

performance in the 100 meters. “Whenever I go to international

competitions, I always have the 200m final and then the 100m

preliminaries and semifinals the next day, so it took a lot of effort to get to

the 100m final at the World Championships,” said Hwang. “This time, I

have the 100m freestyle first. Since it’s the Asian Games, 카지노사이트랭

the preliminaries are not as tough as the World Championships, so I

think if I manage my fitness well, I will be able to achieve a good time in

the 100m freestyle final at the Asian Games.”

I’m concerned about the boldness of China and the organizers to help Panzaner.

Park Tae-hwan

Was subjected to four blood tests at the 2010 Guangzhou Games.

Hwang Sun-woo

Could have a similar experience. “Doping (tests) can be a bad thing that

can delay the competition, but it’s not like I’ve done it once or twice, I’ve

done it dozens of times, so I think the biggest challenge is to adapt well

and prepare for the given situation and manage my physical condition well,” Hwang said.

Hwang

said he will also be going for gold in the 800-meter freestyle relay. “My relay teammates, (Lee) Ho-joon, (Kim) Woo-min, and (Yang) Jae-hoon, have all improved their 200-meter practice times by a lot,” he said, “so if we don’t make any mistakes and just show what we’ve prepared, I think we can get the results we want.”

Hwang said he hopes to bring his experience from the Olympic and World Championships to the Games. “I think I have a lot of experience because this is the first Asian Games where I have competed in both the Olympic Games and the World Championships,” he said. “This time, I want to utilize this experience a little bit and showcase my stage easily at the Asian Games.” 고스톱

Men’s volleyball fails at VNL-Asian

Championships, eventually recalls 3 AG medalists

Han named to 12-man squad for Hangzhou Asian Games
Bronze medal at the 2010 and 2014 Games Silver medal in 2018

Han (38-Korean Air) is back to save South Korean men’s volleyball from the brink. The three-time Asian Games medalist is poised to lead Korea’s volleyball revival in Hangzhou.

Men’s volleyball head coach Lim Do-heon included Han in the 12-player roster for the men’s volleyball team at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, 섯다 which was announced on March 30.

Han, one of the best setters in South Korean volleyball, has been recalled after missing the squad due to an unstable knee condition and a generational shift.

Without Han, the men’s volleyball team struggled in the tournament. South Korea finished third at the 2023 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Challenge Cup for mid-tier Asian nations in July, losing to Bahrain in the semifinals. This ended their return to the FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) after a six-year absence. 온라인섯다 South Korea also tried to win the title at the Asian Volleyball Championship last month, but lost to China in the quarterfinals and finished fifth.

Head coach Lim Do-heon announced a generational change by giving 27-year-old Hwang Taek-ui the captaincy and starting setter instead of Han, but it didn’t work. South Korea received a passing grade for their power with Hsu Bong, but they lacked the experience to win the game at crucial moments.

Lim had no choice but to call up Han again. With the Hangzhou Asian Games coming up this month, he could no longer save Han’s card. “For the Asian Games, we need results, so we need to fill in the gaps,” Lim said in an interview at the Jincheon National Training Center in June.

Han is arguably the best setter in professional volleyball’s V-League men’s division. Despite being in his mid-30s, Han’s tossing and game management skills dominate younger setters, leading his team Korean Air to the overall title for three consecutive seasons. Hwang Taek-ui surpassed Han as the top setter for three consecutive seasons starting in 2020-2021, but Han still holds the title as the best setter in the V-League.

Han has also been strong in international competition. At the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, 카지노사이트랭크 she played as a backup to current KEPCO coach Kwon Young-min and helped the team win a bronze medal. At the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, he captained the team to a bronze medal. At the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta-Palembang, he made it all the way to the final before losing to Iran for the silver medal.

It shouldn’t be hard for Han to fit in with the national team. Han has a long history of working with the current Korean Air players, who are the mainstay of the national team. Outside hitters Jung Jeong-seok and Kwak Seung-seok, outside hitter Im Dong-hyuk, and middle blockers Kim Kyu-min and Kim Min-jae all hit the ball for Korean Air.

The concern is Han’s knee. Han played through a knee injury this spring on her way to her third consecutive overall title. After focusing on rehabilitation, he was only able to step on the court last month at the Cobo Cup 2023. Han expressed his desire to play for the national team after being named the men’s regular season MVP in April. At the time, Han said, “I’m always willing to play (for the national team) if they need me. Until my body is exhausted,” but added, “I have to check my physical condition. My knee is pretty bad. I want to help as much as I can,” he said.

The men’s volleyball team has been training at the Jincheon Athletes’ Village since March 31. The team is scheduled to travel to Hangzhou for the final match on Sept. 16.

South Korea is in Group C with India and Cambodia in the men’s volleyball event at the Asian Games. The Korean men’s volleyball team will begin their hunt for Asian Games gold against India on Aug. 20 and Cambodia on 고스톱 Aug. 21. South Korea’s men’s volleyball team will be looking to win gold at the Asian Games for the first time in 17 years since the 2006 Doha Games.
