In December this year, Rivers Casino & Resorts Shenectady said it is now considering adding staff. During the six-week course, applicants must learn how to handle cards for blackjack and other table games. Also, in December, the casino in the north donated more than $17,100 to charity with the PINKtober Stay, Eat and Drink Pink breast cancer awareness campaign. The donation was made to the American Cancer Society to help fight breast cancer.
