Last week, Ontario learned the name of the latest gaming company to be approved to enter the new, regulated iGaming market this spring, and the name is Inspired Entertainment. The operator is the latest gaming company to receive regulatory approval from Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission and it has been issued a gaming-related vendor license.
The company boasts a premium expansion portfolio of content, technology, hardware, and services for regulated gaming, betting, lottery, and social operators in the offline and online industries. Currently, the company can provide content to about 35 jurisdictions around the world by supplying game systems, related handsets, and more to operators.
On March 17, 2022, Inspired Entertainment released a statement saying it had been approved by Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission to participate in the state’s regulated iGaming market for private operators. The license allows the company to offer products to other approved entities and has 25 certified games for release on April 4, 2022.
Claire Osborne, the company’s VP, said she was excited to join the state’s iGaming market, which is coming out next month. In other words, its nearly 15 million population puts it in the same tier as other jurisdictions, such as New Jersey and Michigan, where the company already operates.
Besides that, she added that the company expects Ontario to provide the game provider with a significant market opportunity. Now she’s looking forward to the launch and seeing how their products will be accepted by local gamblers. Some of the games certified by the company for launch include Big Spin Bonus™, Big Fish Fortune™, and Retro Classic Space Invader®.
The company is already operating in the country because it previously linked a collaboration with Loto-Québec. Quebec Crown Company has been a longtime customer of the company, which supplies outstanding interactive casino content for its online gaming platform, lotoquebec.com . In addition, the company was regulated to work in some U.S. jurisdictions, such as New Jersey, Michigan, and Connecticut.
Most recently, Playn GO, a famous game supplier, also announced that it had been approved to join Canada’s most populous state. When the market opens, the developer will be able to release top performance titles such as Book of Dead, Reactoonz, Rise of Olympus, Tome of Madness, and more for Ontarians who are of legal age and within the boundaries of the state.
Although we are already offering gaming services this week, Rush Street Interactive, which is available in social form, has also been approved to participate. On March 10, 2022, the Illinois Entertainment Company announced that it had received approval to launch a world-class BetRivers online casino and sportsbook in the state. And this time, it will be an incontinence service.
