After becoming the first South Korean swimmer in history to medal at two consecutive World Championships the day before, Hwang Sun-woo advanced to the semifinals in the 100-meter freestyle .Hwang finished tied for 12th overall with a time of 48.20 casinositeking in the men’s 100-meter freestyle preliminaries at the World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. After punching his ticket to the semifinals, which are awarded to the top 16 qualifiers, Hwang will attempt to reach his first individual final in the event tonight (Feb. 26) at 8:26 p.m. in lane 7 of Heat 1 of the semifinals.
