Choi Ju-hwan joins Kiwoom with 1st overall pick in 2nd round…

Infielder Choi Ju-hwan (최주환) has moved to the Kiwoom Heroes with the first overall pick in the second round of the KBO Draft.

Choi Joo-hwan was selected by Kiwoom with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 KBO Secondary Draft held behind closed doors on Feb. 22.

Choi, who played for the Doosan Bears since 2006, became a free agent at the end of the 2020 season and signed a four-year, $4.2 billion contract with the SK Wyverns (formerly the SSG Landers).

Choi appeared in 134 games this year, batting .235 (100-for-426) with 20 home runs and 63 RBIs.

His career first-team numbers are .297 with 115 home runs and 594 RBIs in 1,268 games.
Being selected in the second round of the draft means that he was not on SSG’s list of 35 protected players.

Kiwoom head coach Ko Hyung-wook said, “Choi Joo-hwan is a versatile player. I think he will fill the gaps in our team. We are lucky to have the No. 1 overall pick this year.”

Including Choi, a total of 22 players were selected in the second round of the draft.

SSG also sent veteran outfielder Kim Kang-min, born in 1982, to the Hanwha Eagles with the 22nd pick in the fourth round, infielder Choi Hang to Lotte with the 15th pick in the third round, and pitcher Cho Sung-hoon to Kiwoom with the 21st pick in the fourth round.

However, Kim Kang-min’s future is unclear.

He was offered a coaching job with his former club SSG and was considering whether to extend his career.

Hanwha president Son Hyuk said, “When I was the pitching coach of SK, I was deeply impressed by Kim Kang-min’s skills and leadership. I thought his current form would help our outfield in the 2024 season. I will try to convince him to join our team as a player,” said Kim.

Hanwha selected LG Twins pitcher Lee Sang-kyu with the second overall pick in the first round, and the Samsung Lions selected LG pitcher Choi Sung-hoon with the third overall pick.

SSG selected only two catchers, Park Dae-on (NC Dinos) in the first round and Shin Beom-soo (KIA Tigers) in the third. They gave up their second round pick.

“Catcher was the position that needed the most reinforcement. We looked at the second round roster and saw that we had good catcher resources.” “We will soon start negotiations with catcher Kim Min-sik, who is eligible for free agency. We also plan to interview existing catchers Lee Jae-won and Lee Heung-ryun.”

The Doosan Bears also selected LG catcher Kim Ki-yeon in the first round.

KT WIZ selected Samsung veteran pitcher Woo Kyu-min with the sixth pick of the first round.

The Lotte Giants, KIA, NC, and LG gave up their first-round picks.

Kiwoom pitcher Yang Hyun went to Samsung with the eighth pick in the second round, and Hanwha infielder Oh Sun-jin went to Lotte with the ninth pick in the second round.

In terms of players drafted, LG, SSG, and NC tied for the most with four, followed by KIA (three), Doosan and Kiwoom (two each), and Samsung, Hanwha, and KT (one each). No one was selected from Lotte.

In this draft, 10 clubs selected players in the third round in reverse order of their performance this season. The bottom three teams could select up to two more players to bring their total to five, but no team exercised their fifth-round pick.

In an effort to prevent a team from getting a bunch of players in the second round, we limited the number of players a team could draft to four.

The amount of money a team must pay to a player’s former team is 400 million won in the first round, 300 million won in the second round, and 200 million won in the third round. The transfer fee for players selected in the fourth round and below was set at 100 million won.

The secondary draft was held biennially from 2011 to 2019 and was abolished in 2021, but was revived after two years as the futures (second-team) free agent system became unpopular. 토토사이트

The most heartbreaking super match ever…Suwon faces relegation if they lose

The most heartbreaking ‘supermatch’ of all time is about to unfold.

The bottom-ranked Suwon Samsung will host FC Seoul in the 37th round of the Hana One Q K League 2023 at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

A loss would put Suwon in a nightmare situation, with the club facing relegation to the K League 2 (second division) for the first time in its history.

If last-place Suwon (29 points) loses and 11th-place Gangwon FC (30 points) wins against Suwon FC (32 points), the goal difference between Suwon and 11th-place Suwon FC will be three points.

However, Suwon FC (43 goals) currently leads Suwon (34 goals) in goals scored by nine goals. This means that even if Suwon manages to tie Suwon FC on points in the final match, it is very likely that they will finish last on goal difference.

Unlike the 10th and 11th places, which give them a chance to “resurrect the loser” through the promotion playoffs (PO), the last place finisher is relegated straight away.

Since its inception in 1995, Suwon has been one of the most popular professional soccer clubs in Korea, winning multiple trophies (four K League 1 titles, five FA Cups, six League Cups, and two Asian Champions League titles).

If relegation were to become a reality, it would be a “catastrophe” for the club, with words like “embarrassment” and “humiliation” not being enough to describe it.

Fortunately, Suwon had just come from behind to win a 3-2 reverse at home against Suwon FC in the 36th round to lift their spirits.

Despite a major setback when Kazuki, the centerpiece of their offense, was sent off in the 14th minute, Suwon held on to the lead before Kim Joo-chan scored a dramatic winner in the 33rd minute.

Suwon, who have lost all three games against Seoul this season, will be hoping for an ‘upset’ in the final Super Match.

Seoul is currently in seventh place (54 points) at the top of the Final B table, so they won’t have much motivation to win.

However, they won’t be dropping three points to rivals Suwon lightly.

Seoul will be looking to make their final home game of the season a complete celebration by handing Suwon a heartbreaking defeat.

Seoul is favored to become the first team in K League history to reach 400,000 fans in a season at the Super Match. They also have a good chance of breaking the record for the highest average attendance per game in a season across the four major professional sports leagues (the current record is 21,901 – Lotte Giants of the KBO in 2008).

The match between 11th-ranked Gangwon and 10th-ranked Suwon FC will be played at the same time at Gangneung Sports Complex.

Gangwon defeated Daejeon 1-0 in the 36th round, their first win in six games.

Kim Dae-won, who scored the winning goal, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the round, while Shin Min-woo and Kim Young-bin were named to the Best 11.

Gangwon will look to keep the momentum going when they host Suwon FC for their second straight win of the season and move up to 10th place. 파워볼

Oh Seon-jin to leave Hanwha after one year “I’m excited to reunite with Lotte coach Lee Sung-gon”

Oh Seon-jin (오선진) says goodbye to the Hanwha Eagles for the second time.

“It’s really unfortunate to leave the team again just a year after returning to Hanwha,” Oh said weakly, “but I know that new encounters can be motivating. The Lotte Giants have given me a chance, so I’ll do my best to show them how good I am,” he said.

Oh was selected by Lotte with the ninth overall pick in the second round of the 2023 Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) Draft on Feb. 22.

After Ahn Chi-hong signed a free agent (FA) contract with Hanwha for up to six years and a total of 7.2 billion won ($7.2 million), Lotte selected Oh and Choi Hang (formerly of SSG Landers) from the same position in the second round.

Oh said, “I signed a free agent contract (1+1 years, up to 400 million won) with Hanwha last November. I was really happy to come back to the place where I started my professional career (2008).” “It’s unfortunate that I had to leave the team again after a year, but as a professional player, you have to accept it. Manager Son Hyuk said, ‘I’m sorry,’ but it’s really okay. I understand the club’s situation,” he said.

“I’m grateful to Lotte for investing a significant transfer fee (300 million won in second-round compensation) to select me,” he said. “Lotte is the most popular team in the KBO. We will work hard to prepare for the 2023 season so that our fans will not be disappointed.”

The sadness of parting ways with the Hanwha players, who were like brothers, is offset by the excitement of meeting new people.

For Oh, Lotte is also a place of reunion.

“I have a strong relationship with the Lotte coaches. Coach Ko Young-min is a senior at Seongnam High School. I played with Coach Kim Min-jae at Hanwha, and Coach Kim Kwang-soo was the head coach at Hanwha.” “It’s also interesting to see Lee Sung-gon, who I now have to call my coach, again.”

After playing for Hanwha, Oh moved to the Samsung Lions in June 2021 in a one-for-one trade for outfielder Lee Sung-gon.

The two became “teammates” when Oh returned to Hanwha in 2023.

Lee recently announced his retirement from baseball and decided to begin his coaching career as an assistant hitting coach for the Lotte Futures.

“A few days ago, I met Sung-gon at the Hanwha training center in Seosan, and he said, ‘I’m starting a new life as a Lotte coach,'” Oh said. I told him, ‘You’re starting your coaching career with a good team, so don’t be too sad. I replied, ‘I’ll just say congratulations,’ but we met again at Lotte.” He laughed and said, “I’ll serve you strictly as a coach now.”

Oh batted .276 with three home runs and 24 RBIs in 100 games for Samsung in 2022, splitting time between starter and backup.

This year, he hit .230 with 14 RBIs in 90 games. He was hit in the jaw by a pitch and had some disappointing at-bats, but he was recognized for his defense.

“I really wanted to be a member of the championship team at Hanwha, which hasn’t won a championship since 1999. I left without achieving my goal, and I’m sorry to the fans,” Oh said. “Now my goal is to win a championship with the Lotte Giants (who haven’t won a championship since 1992). I don’t need to be the lead actor. I’ll be a supporting actor who will definitely help Lotte.” 토토

Ye won Lee crowned the top earner on the Korean Women’s Professional Golf Tour for the 2023 season

Ye Won Lee has been crowned the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association’s (KLPGA) money winner for the 2023 season.

Lee carded five birdies and two bogeys in the second round of the S-Oil Championship at Elysian Jeju Country Club (Par 72) in Jeju City, South Korea, on Wednesday.

With a median total of 6-under 138, Lee is tied for fourth place, one shot behind the three co-leaders, and is in contention for the title.

The tournament is not yet over, but Lee, who leads the money list, will be crowned the winner regardless of the outcome of the rest of the tournament after second-ranked Park Ji-young withdrew due to a knee injury.

With three wins this season, Lee has amassed $1.268 billion in prize money.

Park Ji-young, with 972,247,385 won, was unable to add to her prize fund due to a withdrawal, so even if she wins the final event of the season, the SK Shielders-SK Telecom Championship (worth 200 million won), she will not overtake Lee.

Lee, who joined the regular tour in 2022 and was crowned Rookie of the Year, was a force to be reckoned with in her second year on the regular tour.

Lee is also leading in points and strokes gained, so he will be aiming to win multiple crowns.

“The money list was one of my big goals, and I’m proud to have secured it, and I’m happy that I had a really good season,” said Lee.

Lee, Kim Jae-hee, and Jung Yoon-ji are tied for the lead at 7-under-par 137.

Lee, who has won six titles in even-numbered years, shaved five strokes off her score with six birdies and one bogey on the day, setting the stage for a win in an odd-numbered year.

Kim Jae-hee carded an eagle and four birdies without a bogey.

Jung Yoon-ji also had a steady round, shooting a 68 in the first round and a 69 in the second for back-to-back days in the 60s.

Im Jin-hee, who is in contention with Lee for the grand prize points, dropped one stroke to tie for 21st place (1-under 143).

Rookie of the Year points leader Kim Min-byul advanced to the third round with a 3-over par 147.

Kim is closing in on the rookie crown after Hwang Yoo-min, the second-ranked player on the rookie points list, withdrew due to acute gastritis before the second round. 먹튀검증

Park ‘looks to make it two in a row’, shares 2R lead at Golf Zone-Doray Open

Professional golfers often struggle to defend their titles.

While the fond memories of last year’s victory are certainly there, it’s the pressure that weighs on their shoulders that has the worst effect on their performance.

Especially before the tournament, when your name is called and you participate in pre-tournament events, your head is full of pressure to do well this year.

However, this is not the case for Park Eun-shin, who is attempting to win her second consecutive title at the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour’s Golf Zone-Dorei Open (total prize money of 700 million won).

Park fired a 7-under 65 in the second round of the tournament on Wednesday at Seonsan Country Club (Par 72) in Golf Zone County, Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk.

Park shot a 13-under-par 131 at the halfway point to share the tournament lead with Chung and Kim Hong-taek, giving her a shot at winning the tournament for the second straight year.

Park carded nine birdies and two bogeys on the day.

After playing 20 holes, including two that were delayed due to fog the day before, Park birdied the final hole of the first round to give her 10 birdie putts on the day.

Park said she is excited and in good spirits, not because of the pressure of defending her title, but because of the good memories.

“It actually makes me more focused,” she said, “and that was the case at the Descente Korea Match Play, which was my first title defense this season.”

Park Eun-shin reached the quarterfinals of the Descente Korea Match Play.

“It’s natural to want to win back-to-back tournaments,” he said, “but there are still two days left, so I have to keep my greed in check and focus on my game.” He vowed not to start drinking kimchi soup.

Park, who has two top-10 finishes and one missed cut in eight events in the second half of the year, attributed her good results in the first and second rounds to a change of mindset ahead of the tournament.

“I thought I was playing pretty poorly, 온라인카지노 but it turns out I wasn’t that bad,” Park said. “It’s important not to get impatient when things aren’t going well,” he added.

He also made two bogeys on the day, but added, “I thought, ‘That’s okay, I’ll get a birdie soon,’ so I was patient.”

Knowing that putting will be crucial to his success in defending his title, Park said that since his last tournament, he has been skipping practice strokes when putting, which has improved his putt success rate.

“I think I’m thinking a lot whenever I take a practice stroke,” Park said. “When I practice on the practice green, I just hit it hard, and I’m putting with that feeling, and it’s definitely working.”

Kim Hong-taek, the “Screen Emperor” who has won just once on the KPGA Korean Tour – the 2017 Dong-A Membership Group Dynamic Busan Open – but has been to the top of the leaderboard more than 10 times on screen golf, made eight birdies without a bogey on the day to go one better than his second career victory in six years.

Chung Mil Chung, who was eight shots off the lead after the first day, shaved five strokes off his score to share the lead for the second straight day.

“I’m going to play the third round as if it’s the first round,” said Jung, who has often played well in the first and second rounds only to collapse in the third and fourth.

Senior Kang Kyung-nam, who was 8-under par through the 16th hole of the first round the day before to share the lead with Jung, parred the remaining two holes and then dropped four strokes in the second round to close to within one stroke of the leaders.

Genesis Grand Prize points leader Ham Jeong-woo shot a 6-under 66 and is two shots back in a tie for fifth place (11-under 133), poised to jump into contention for the title.

“YouTuber golfer” Gong Tae-hyun, who was aiming to make the cut, finished in a tie for 20th place (7-under par 137) and qualified for the weekend.

Park Sang-hyun, who is attempting to surpass $800 million in season earnings, rounded out the field in a tie for 41st place (4-under par 140). 바카라사이트

“Hwang Jae-gyun, you didn’t even care that you made a mistake,” says a delighted KT Director Lee Kang-chul.

KT WIZ head coach Lee Kang-cheol was pleased with his veteran infielders’ performance in Game 3, saying, “They seem to have found their groove,” after committing crucial errors in Games 1 and 2 of the playoffs (PO).

He also did not hide his belief that the veteran infielders will make a turning point in this fall’s stage.

“If inexperienced players made such mistakes, they might not be able to overcome them and collapse, but our players didn’t mind at all,” Lee said ahead of the visiting NC Dinos in the fourth game of the 2023 Baseball PO at Changwon NC Park on Wednesday. I think it’s the power of experience,” he said.

KT third baseman Hwang Jae-gyun failed to catch an ordinary floated ball in the first inning, which led to a run, and in the second inning, first basemen Park Byung-ho and Hwang Jae-gyun made crucial errors.

The mound was shaken by a series of errors by the infielders, and the two PO games were lost.

However, the two players played well together in the third inning of the second day’s PO.

Ko Young-pyo, a groundball-inducing pitcher, trusted the infield defense and threw his pitches to his heart’s content.

“I felt that the infielders had recovered their sense of play,” said Lee Kang-chul, “and if the younger players had made such mistakes, we would have had to replace them.”

He also said, “Hwang Jae-gyun didn’t care. He didn’t even seem to be sorry,” he chuckled.

He praised the veteran infielders for putting the mistake out of their minds and focusing on the game.

However, the veteran second baseman, Park Kyung-soo, who had made several errors the day before, was left out of the starting lineup. Instead, Oh Yoon-seok was inserted.

“Park complained of pain in both legs after yesterday’s game,” said Lee Kang-cheol, “but he’s good enough to play defense later in the game.”

KT won the previous day to take a 1-0 lead in the PO, but they are still in a precarious position. If they lose today’s game, they will be eliminated.

KT started foreign pitcher William Cuevas, who started Game 1, in Game 4 of the PO. Cuevas will start again after taking just three days off.

Manager Lee Kang-cheol said, “We haven’t set a limit on the number of pitches he can throw,” adding, “He’ll be responsible for about four innings.”

When asked if he had a long-relief pitcher ready in case Cuevas left early, Lee replied, “I don’t have one. We have to utilize our best pitchers again.”

That means the core bullpen of Son Dong-hyun, Park Young-hyun, and Kim Jae-yoon will be in action again today.

He also praised designated hitter Moon Sang-chul, who has been hitting for the cycle.

In Game 1, Moon hit a home run off opposing ace Eric Peddy, and in Game 2, he was the only KT hitter to produce a hit off opposing starter Shin Min-hyuk.

And in Game 3, he hit a game-winning solo home run.

“I had a feeling for designated hitters like Lee Ho-yeon and Kim Min-hyuk, but Moon Sang-chul didn’t have a bad record against Pedi in Game 1, so I put him in the lineup,” Lee said. “He hit well in Game 1, so I’m continuing to utilize him.”

“He didn’t have a great game against Song Myung-ki today, but he’s been hitting well lately, so we put him in the leadoff spot again.”

Moon will start in the No. 6 spot.

“It was my mistake,” Lee said, referring to the situation where he instructed Moon to bunt the day before, which ended in nothing.

“I tried to bunt well in training, but it didn’t work out as I thought,” he said, adding, “We’ll see what happens in today’s game.”

KT batted shortstop Kim Sang-soo at first, followed by Hwang Jae-gyun (third base), Anthony Alford (left field), Park Byung-ho (first base), and Jang Jang-woo (catcher).

Oh Yun-seok (second base), Choi Jae-dae (center field), and Choi Soo-ho (right field) will bat seventh through ninth. 슬롯게이밍

KT Benjamin’s determination for PO Game 5: “Anything for the team to win”

KT Wiz foreign-born pitcher Wes Benjamin is showing early signs of determination for Game 5 of the Korean Baseball Organization’s best-of-five playoffs (PO-5).

KT, which is trailing the NC Dinos by two games to one, will need to take Game 4 on Wednesday to set up Game 5. The starting pitcher for Game 5 has not yet been announced.

Benjamin took the loss in Game 2 of the PO on March 31 after giving up three runs on five hits and four walks while striking out two.

“If I go to Game 5, I’ll be facing their best pitcher, (Eric) Peddy,” Benjamin said before Game 4, adding, “I’m not fighting him, I’m fighting myself.”

“If NC can get their bullpen out a little quicker, I think we’ll have a good chance,” he said.

When asked what differences he would bring from the second round, he laughed and said, “If there are any, I can’t say them publicly,” and then replied, “I think if I focus on my mechanics and pitch my own pitches, there will be good results.”

Game 2 of the POs was also Benjamin’s first game in 25 days after suffering from left arm pain. He was hit in the thigh by a hard-hit pitch in the top of the fifth inning.

Benjamin reassured that he was 100 percent.

“I actually had a nerve problem in my neck, but the doctor and trainer helped me a lot, so my body condition improved a lot,” Benjamin said. “I was hit by a bat for two or three days, but when I pitched in the bullpen today, I didn’t feel any pain and my body condition was perfect.”

The starting pitcher for KT on this day was William Cuevas, who pitched four days after the first game of the PO.

It’s reminiscent of Benjamin’s dedication last season.

After winning the final home game of the regular season, Benjamin pitched out of the bullpen in the wild-card game against the KIA Tigers on just two days’ rest, and then started the second game of the semifinals against the Kiwoom Heroes on three days’ rest.

“At the end of the season, with only a few games left, it’s natural to want to go out and pitch as much as possible,” Benjamin said. “Of course, it’s a challenge, but I trust my bullpen and will do whatever it takes to help the team win.” 먹튀검증

‘PO 3rd Game Lake Bi’ KT Park Kyung-soo “It’s not admirable, but…”

A day later, the afterglow of Park Kyung-soo (39-KT WIZ)’s performance still lingers at Changwon NC Park.

As teammates and reporters showered him with praise ahead of the fourth game of the 2023 Baseball Playoffs (PO) against the NC Dinos, he held out his hand, saying, “It wasn’t enough to admire.”

Despite Park’s repeated lowering of his head, everyone who met him was talking about “Game 3 Hoseby” ahead of the PO Game 4 at Changwon NC Park on Wednesday.

In the bottom of the seventh inning of Game 2 of the PO, with a 3-0 lead, Park flew out to catch a hard-hit ball from leadoff hitter Jason Martin and accurately throw to first base.

There were gasps from the stands and the dugout.

“I’m grateful that you see it that way, but I don’t think my defense was decisive in the game,” Park said, joking that “if I were a faster player, I would have thrown from the front without falling.”

However, Park’s defense proved to be a big help for KT bullpen Son Dong-hyun, who came on at the start of the seventh inning with a narrow lead. It was also the defense that broke NC’s will to chase.

“We were down 2-0 in the PO, so our KT players were really focused and played the third game,” Park said. “Moreover, our veteran infielders made mistakes in the first and second games, so we wanted to make up for it. In Game 3, the infield finished the game without any mistakes, and our team won. I’m glad we brought PO to Game 4,” he said, chanting ‘Team First.

KT lost both games due to errors by third baseman Hwang Jae-gyun (36) in game one and first baseman Park Byung-ho (37) in game two.

“Me, (Park) Byung-ho, (Hwang) Jae-kyun, and other seniors started the PO saying, ‘We want to lighten the burden of the juniors in this postseason,'” Park said. “Fortunately, we won Game 3, and the mood is changing, so we’ll try harder to advance to the Korean Series.”

In 2021, when KT won its first overall title, Park was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Korean Series.

His batting performance was unremarkable at the time, going 2-for-8 with a double, a home run, and one RBI, but he came through on several occasions to save the day.

Park was injured in Game 3 of the Korean Series and did not play in Game 4.

KT ended the 2021 Korean Series in four games, and after the team won the championship, Park walked up to the juniors, supported by Han Yoo-joon. It was a memorable moment in Korean baseball history.

KT fans who remembered Park’s celebration in the 2021 Korean Series were renewed by Park’s celebration in the third game of Game 2 of the PO.

“When we won, our infield defense was really good. Mistakes are contagious, and hobbies are contagious to your teammates,” Park said, adding, “Our infield played good defense in Game 3 of the PO, so I think there will be a hobbie parade in the remaining games.”

In Game 4, Park was removed from the starting lineup. Oh Yoon-seok started at second base in his place.

Park said, “I’m not disappointed at all. “I hope we can score first and keep the lead until the seventh inning, and I can say, ‘Yoon-seok, you did a good job, I’ll take over the second half,'” he said with a smile. 파워볼사이트

43rd National Paralympic Games opens in Mokpo…

The 43rd National Paralympic Games, a stage for the dreams and passions of athletes with disabilities, kicked off on Wednesday at the Mokpo Sports Complex in Mokpo, Jeollanam-do.

At the opening ceremony, held under the theme of ‘Sound of Jeollanam-do’, athletes representing 17 provinces across the country promised to compete in good faith.

The opening ceremony consisted of the entrance of the athletes, the opening declaration, the raising of the tournament flag, the oath of the athletes and referees, the theme performance, and the lighting of the torch.

The Games will feature 31 events (28 athletic and 18 recreational), with a total of 9,578 athletes, including 6,061 athletes and 3,517 officials. It is the largest ever.

The tournament will run through Aug. 8 at 38 venues in 12 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do, including the main host city of Mokpo.

“I sincerely congratulate you on the 43rd National Para Sports Games,” President Yoon Seok-yul said in a congratulatory message read by Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Jang Jang-ran. “Like the recently built Mokpo Bandabi Sports Center, the government will do its best to more thoroughly guarantee the sports rights of people with disabilities by increasing socially integrated sports facilities that anyone can use without discrimination.”

The opening ceremony was attended by Vice Minister Jang Jang-ran, Jeong Jin-wan, President of the Korean Para Sports Federation, and Jeonnam Governor Kim Young-rok.

In his welcome speech, Governor Kim Young-rok said, “The Paralympic Games is a sports festival of national integration where people with disabilities and people without disabilities are united.” He added, “I hope that this will be a stage for a new history where all the athletes will soar toward bigger dreams.”

“At the Hangzhou 2022 Para Asian Games, which concluded last week, more than 200 athletes who have grown through the National Para Games showed excellent performances and achieved the fourth place overall,” said Chung Jin-wan. “We hope that this competition will also provide an opportunity for everyone to develop through good faith competition.”

In addition to sports competitions, the tournament will feature a variety of other events.

The ‘Dream Paralympics’ program, a sports-based disability awareness program, will be held near the Mokpo General Stadium.

Visitors will be able to experience wheelchair badminton, boccia, showdowns, and other Para sports.

The Korea Para Sports Federation will also organize the ‘Para Sports Human Rights Festival’ to raise awareness of disability rights.

The first Paralympic Games were held in 1981, and since 2016, Para athletes have been participating.

Several national athletes, including three-time Hangzhou Para-Asian Games champion Kim Jung-bin in cycling and Seo Soo-yeon in table tennis, are participating in the event. 토토사이트

Attention Jo Jin-seok, the tallest person at 216 cm Men’s volleyball rookie draft held on the 30th

Cho Jin-seok, who participated in the 2023 Mungyeong-Beon Patty Burn International University Volleyball Tournament

Cho Jin-seok

(21, Kyung Hee University), the ‘tallest Korean volleyball player ever’ with a height of 216 cm, is knocking on the door of the Korean Professional Volleyball V-League.

The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) will hold the V-League 2023-2024 male rookie player draft at the Mayfield Hotel in Gangseo-gu, Seoul at 2 p.m. on the 30th.

A total of 42 people submitted applications, including 38 college students, including those scheduled to graduate, 3 students scheduled to graduate from high school, and 1 member of the business team.

The player drawing the most attention is Jin-seok Cho, a middle blocker in his third year at Kyung Hee University.

At 216 centimeters, Cho Jin-seok is the tallest player in Korean volleyball history, 5 centimeters taller than Kim Eun-seop (retired) at 211 centimeters.

He is also 11 centimeters taller than Park Jun-hyuk (205 cm-Hyundai

Capital), who is currently the tallest player in the V-League.

Cho started playing volleyball in the fourth grade at Suncheon Daesok

Elementary School and has been a middle blocker ever since.

Although he is said to be “still lacking in athleticism and strength,” he was

born with a “height” that no competent coach could give him.

That’s why many experts expect him to be a “top pick.

Suseong High outside hitter Yoon Seo-jin (18, 195.5 centimeters) is

another player that professional teams are eyeing.
