Who is competing in the Hangzhou Asian Games with the Korean flag,
will try to break a long winless streak in his final start before joining Ryu Joong-il-ho.
Na will take the mound against the KT Wiz of the 2023 Shinhan Bank
SOL KBO League at Katie Wiz Park in Suwon, 한국야동 South Korea on April 21.
The game will be Na’s last in a Lotte uniform before the Asian Games,
where he will be called up to the baseball team led by Ryu Jung-il.
Originally, Na was scheduled to pitch against the Hanwha Eagles in
Daejeon on the 20th, but the schedule was pushed back a day due to the
cancellation of the entire KBO season due to the fall rains that soaked the country.

With no wins, Na has the second fewest wins of any starter selected for the
Asian Games after Koo Chang-mo (1 win, NC Dinos). However, Koo
hasn’t pitched in the first team in over 100 days due to a left arm injury, so
he’s actually off the pace.
Still, the encouraging part is that Na has recorded three consecutive quality
starts (6+ innings and 3 or fewer earned runs) since August 27 against
Sasak KT. His strikeout rate has also improved again, with nearly half of
his 25 outs coming on strikeouts.

team call-up to gain confidence and join Ryu in the lineup.
In three appearances against KT this season, Na went 1-2 with a 3.79
ERA. He struggled in Suwon on June 21, giving up six runs in five innings,
but didn’t show much weakness in the other two games, going seven
